Why did my payment fail?

Don't worry — this happens more often than you'd think, and it's usually easy to fix. Check the most common causes below.

Make sure there's enough balance on the account or card you used, then try again.

Banks and card issuers automatically block certain online payments as a fraud-prevention measure, especially for first-time or larger purchases.

Contact your bank to authorize the payment, or try a different card or payment method.

For security reasons, a payment session expires if it takes too long to complete.

Simply return to checkout and start the payment again.

A lost or unstable internet connection can interrupt the payment process before it finishes.

Check your connection and try again.

A payment can't complete if the card number, expiry date or CVC code doesn't match.

Double-check these details and try again.

Some cards have a limit on how much you can spend in one transaction or per month.

If you've hit that limit, try a different payment method.

Occasionally a payment provider has short downtime.

If this keeps happening, wait a few minutes and try again, or choose an alternative payment method.

Ad blockers or privacy extensions can sometimes interfere with the secure payment pop-up.

Try disabling them temporarily, or complete the payment in a different browser.
